Hostal Fonda Chavarria

Fonda Chavarría is located in the town of Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona), a modernist city with emblematic buildings such as Can Negre by the architect Jose M Jujol and other works such as the Torre de la Creu, 1913-1916, or the Torre Jujol of 1932. And other works of architecture of Domenec and Mansana like the building of the city council of 1927.

The city has the first church of St. John the Baptist which is dated to the year 1002 and was in the same place as the present, which after suffering a great fire was rebuilt.

Right next to the church we find a very transformed Romanesque hermitage.
