Sedó Ceramics

At Ceramiques Sedó workshop you are going to discover the magnificent past of Esparreguera craftsmanship. This town has a millenary tradition and today has been certified as a Interesting Craftsmanship Zone.

Audiovisual material, a collection of ancient vases and some special workshop elements will help you to know what old craftsmen made, how they worked and how they organised themselves. In addition you will discover the life of the 20 craftsfamilies whose workshops provides Barcelona´s market in the 1960s.

Ceramiques Sedó has been working during three generations at the same place and they have joined the old potter’s tradition with design and avant-garde. Due to the quality of their ceramics they were awarded as a craftsmasters by the Catalan Government. They are going to show you what they make and how they work nowadays.
