Parc Forestal de Can Cases

The Cases Can Martorell Park , former seat of farmland provided by SEAT in the City , opened its doors in 1988 and has been classified by the Generalitat de Catalunya mountain utility for its social and recreational interest . It has an area of 30 hectares and is located northwest of the village. It has two distinct areas: the repositories of the picnic area is located in a pine forest near the park entrance and has 24 barbecues, 25 tables and playground and sports ( basketball , football and bocce ) . At this point begins a network of roads in the forest with a dominance of sclerophyllous oaks and riparian forest along the Torrent de Llops . The Centre Especial de Trabajo Can Cases is responsible for maintenance and, thanks to the rich biodiversity it contains, the Ministry of Environment of the City organizes activities of environmental education in schools.
