This municipality that extends to the banks of the Anoia river and borders the Alt Penedès wine region, in which it is registered for its production of wines and ''cavas'', you can find as a point of greatest interest its natural environment, with a large mass of forest, preserved by a Special Plan of Natural Interest where you can go to the ''R. Canals Canals'' cavas (with its own museum) and ''Ollé & Amat''.

Places that stand out in the village are the old convent (from the 15th century), the ermita de la Mare de Déu dels Àngels, the ruins of the Castell de Sant Jaume, the Masia de Ca n’Abat and the Cadireta, a magnificent viewpoint at the top of the Matamoros mountain.
